My skills and expertise
Discover the core skills I've cultivated through my experiences, from fast-paced customer service to collaborative teamwork. See how these abilities drive my passion for finance and entrepreneurship.

Composure and Commitment
I work well under pressure and I have learned to stay calm even when things get really busy. Working in high demand service roles taught me how to deliver quality consistently and look after customers properly no matter what the situation was. I take my responsibilities seriously and I am someone my team can always count on to get things done to a good standard.

Skills in Action
Working as a barista taught me how important attention to detail really is. Every coffee had to be made properly and every customer had to be looked after well. Over time that became second nature to me. I am a good listener and I take the time to understand what people actually need before jumping in. Whatever I start I always see through to the end and I do not consider something done until it is done properly.

Real-world application of skills
My skills come from real experience, not just the classroom. I have worked in some genuinely busy environments and learned how to handle pressure while still delivering good service. After a year of making coffee and looking after customers every day, attention to detail and consistency became habits for me. Outside of work I am always looking for ways to keep growing, whether that is picking up new things, putting myself in uncomfortable situations, or just being around people I can learn from.
Connecting skills to future career goals
Everything I have learned so far, staying calm under pressure, looking after people well, paying attention to the details, connects directly to where I want to go. I want to build something in the food, beverage or sports industry one day and the skills I have picked up through real work experience are exactly what that kind of path requires. University is giving me the business knowledge and my experiences are giving me the practical foundation.
