Composure and Commitment
I work well under pressure and I have learned to stay calm even when things get really busy. Working in high demand service roles taught me how to deliver quality consistently and look after customers properly no matter what the situation was. I take my responsibilities seriously and I am someone my team can always count on to get things done to a good standard.
Skills in Action
Working as a barista taught me how important attention to detail really is.. Every coffee had to be made properly and every customer deserved a good experience. Over time that became second nature to me. I am a good listener and I take the time to understand what people actually need before jumping in. Whatever I start I always see through to the end and I do not consider something done until it is done properly.
Real-world application of skills
My skills come from real experience, not just the classroom. I have worked in some genuinely busy environments and learned how to handle pressure while still delivering good service. After a year of making coffee and looking after customers every day, attention to detail and consistency became habits for me. Outside of work I am always looking for ways to keep growing and I never stop learning.
